At 736 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking lines of strong storms
moving into western San Luis Obispo County, focused between Cayucos
and Pismo Beach, including Morro Bay. These storms were moving to the
northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, pea size hail, very heavy downpours,
and possible lightning. Some rotation is being detected offshore, with
a slight chance of these storms spinning up a brief tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Any waterspouts could come ashore as weak tornados. Gusty winds could
knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail
damage to vegetation is possible.
