CENTRAL COAST, Calif. – Candidates running for election this Super Tuesday are awaiting results at various parties throughout the Central Coast as polling comes to a close.

Some local key races in this Primary Election include: U.S. Representative for District 24, State Senator for District 21 and State Assembly for District 37.

The first wave of votes are expected to be released online around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.

In the U.S. Representative for District 24 race, incumbent Salud Carbajal is running against Thomas Cole and Helena Pasquarella.

In the race for State Senator in District 21, incumbent Monique Limón is running against Elijah Mack, and in the State Assembly for District 37 race, incumbent Gregg Hart is facing off with Sari Domingues.
